Wednesday School Year End Championship

The first prize and the Crews "Missile" were won by David Kelly and Stuart MacPherson with a score of 42 stableford points. The second prize went to Gil Joyce and Robin Hammond after a count out on 40 points. Third was Rodger Prideaux and Mike Pate. There was also a prize of a half hour golf lesson each by Richard Pickering won by John Clark and Donald Campbell for the most golf played.

The Pevsner Trophy Competition

The Pevsner Trophy Competition was won by Jade Gray (25 Handicap) on the 18/10/2009 which took place at Mowbray golf club.
It was a 36 hole stroke play event.
Morning Score 93 gross 68 nett
Afternoon Score 95 gross 70 nett

Winning Score 188 Gross - 138 Nett

Westhead Cup 2009

The Westhead Cup was presented in 1956 by Commander WR Westhead specifically for Royal Cape Prentice member’s boys and girls. In recent years this trophy was played with in the Royal Cape Junior event but this year we separated it and were played as a standalone tournament and will played like this as a future event. The 2009 Strokeplay champion played on handicap is Jade Gray who won the tournament on a Nett 69 off a 28 handicap. Congratulations to Jade seen here standing with the club captain David Leslie. Well done.
